Dropout Filter Technology
Dropout filter removes liquids and particulates from your compressed air system. The benefits of our certified products include:
- Removes 99.9999% of water and liquids from your compressed air system
- Removes all particles down to 2μm and 99% down to 1μm
- Removing 99.996% of oil down to 0.004 mg/m3
- No replacement parts or filters required
How do they work?
- Dirty air enters the inlet port and is directed through our primary chamber where directional changes cause the air to spin, removing the heaviest content.
- The air then passes through a small annulus causing the air to expand and rapidly cool.
- The air then passes through the DCC (Dropout clarification chambers) where precision engineered venturis deflect the air causing particle coalescence.
- Liquid then falls to the base of the unit where it is collected and drained.
- Multiple DCCs polish the air of all remaining aerosol particles leaving the downstream air of the Dropout clean and dry.
